Good for special occasions

We are a cosy pub in the middle of the Cotswold water park area - We have a country bar with open fire in the winter and tables on the village green for those sunny summer days.
Greg (Chef) and Vicki bring to The Masons Arms 20 years experience of running pubs and take pride in amazing food and customer service with Greg creating some classic but delicious pub favorites from Pork belly to local venison and a great vegetarian selection - and of course our mouthwatering burgers.

We enjoyed the meal at the Mason Arms, our only small criticism was that the condiments i,e Horseradish and Cranberry Sauce in our opinion should have been put in small dishes, not the jars that other diners could have eaten off their spoons and then placed them back into the jars. The other criticism is that my wife ordered a Gin and Tonic. The drink came in a straight glass filled with Tonic, she could not taste the Gin. The Tonic should have came in a small bottle so that my wife could put her own quantity of Tonic into the glass. Overall the service was good and the food enjoyable. We would eat there again, but would request the Tonic to be in a bottle. All my wife could taste was Tonic.

Beautiful sea bass at The Masons today - our party really enjoyed their food. Would have been nice to have the fire lit but didn’t greatly affect our lunch experience.

Food was freshly cooked, very tasty, served in a timely manner. The fixed price lunch menu had a good selection for each course. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ambience was perfect for what we wanted. Would highly recommend and wish we lived closer.

Easy to book this great pub where we found the food was excellent and competitively priced and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Whilst the booking was for the bar area we were moved into the restaurant as the bar was packed due to local fireworks. We were treating our neighbour/cat sitter, and enjoy taking her to great eateries in the Cotswolds (Swindon has nothing to offer us!!).; the Masons didn’t fail us. Lovely staff, great food, clean and tidy facilities. We will be back and I know my neighbour will be recommending this pub to others.

This was our second visit to The Masons Arms and once again it didn't disappoint. The food is delicious, well presented and you get a generous portion for your money, which is also excellent value too, given the quality. The staff are courteous and friendly and the service is nicely paced. The decor and ambience of the place is comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. We will definitely be back and would encourage anyone who is considering a visit to give them a try as you certainly won't be disappointed.
