    The Piedmontese inspired wine dinner was exquisite! The staff, food and wine couldn’t have been better. It was a wonderful first visit to Masons Steakhouse, and we will be back soon!

    Another excellent wine pairing dinner by Cody and Chef Kevin, each surpassing the one before it. Looking forward to the Schramsberg dinner on June 18th.

    My wife and I went here for my birthday. When we first arrived, it was so noisy we almost left, but they told us it was because a lot of people were at the bar waiting for a wine pairing dinner to start upstairs. It did get noticeably quieter about 10 minutes later when the bar cleared out. To begin, I have to say that the service was excellent! My wife began with the marrow appetizer and I had the sirloin carpaccio and both were very good. We shared a lobster bisque which has way too much of something that completely overtook the natural taste of the lobster. For the main course wife had the pork chop and I had the NY sirloin strip. She liked her pork chop. My sirloin was not what I expected from a steak house in this price range. It had a ton of fat and grizzle and it was very tough. I have had much better steaks at other restaurants in that price range and at many restaurants in a much lower price range. Their price range is in the Ruth's Chris/Grill 23 range and the steak I had couldn't compare. I would not say that it was a totally bad experience, but for an excellent steak I would not go back.

    Last night was our 3rd visit and it was our best. Our server was terrific - and we asked about the doneness of the steaks since we had found an our past steaks to be more well done that we liked. She suggested “medium rare plus” and it was perfect. But my husband ordered medium and it was too well done even for medium. She agreed and replace his meal quite quickly and he loved it. Our desserts were Amazing especially the new Baked Alaska tiramisu. We are local and are happy to have such a wonderful restaurant here in Quincy. We will be back for sure!
