   Mastro's is always consistent no matter what city you are in. Service was impeccable and attentive. Food prepared to our liking. We celebrated a milestone birthday so they made it extra special.

   Everything about this experience was amazing. the restaurant was hands down one of the best fine dining steakhouses i’ve been too. i will be coming here everytime i visit miami

   The location and am usanze is great. It’s a beautifully decorated restaurant. The service was ok but not up to what I’ve experienced at other Mastros. The thing that was truly disappointing was the food. Our salads were fine but the mains left a lot to be desired. All the fish was overcooked, dry and tough. They have a lot of sauces but the sauce can’t hide a dry piece of fish. I’ve never had a worse piece of grouper.

   I had high expectations given the reviews, but our party of three left thoroughly disappointed. The steak, supposedly the star of the show, missed the mark completely. My filet mignon was off-tasting I couldn’t manage more than a single bite a serious letdown. The tomahawk quality was average. Everything was wildly over salted. Even the basics were mishandled. The salad was a soggy, over-chopped mess, buried in an overwhelming amount of blue cheese. To top it off, the cheesecake tasted old. The staff was friendly but they need to be trained. A disaster.

   Table was outside overlooking Miami river so that was great as this was a romantic dinner. The lobster sushi appetizer was excellent. Ordered Japanese wagyu A5 but was given filet. Unsure if this was due to misunderstanding the order or they were out of wagyu. Also ordered lamb chops. Both were overcooked given instructions. Well seasoned but overcooked takes away some of the taste. Garlic mashed potatoes were a bit runny. Truffle mushroom were good but not much truffle flavor. Brocolini was very good. Overall expected much better meal experience.

   Over all good experience apart from the moment when we went outside for a cigarette and someone cleared our table! So our wine that was breathing was taken away. Although the waiter got us new glasses it wasn’t the same taste.. so that was disappointing but overall it was ok. We would go back to give it another go. We are usual clients of Mastro’s Beverly Hills so we are big fans of their delicious food!
