   Amazing food. Sharing portions is great idea and unique for this restaurant. Had pork, steak and fish and all were amazing. Crab rice and Brussels sprouts are definitely worth it

   Went to celebrate my mom's birthday had a great time. The location had live music on Saturday night which was slightly louder than average. Staff was decent, the primary waiter seemed try and clear plates very expeditiously which made us feel slightly rushed. The assistant seemed to have a slight attitude which we have never experienced before at a place like this.

   The place is neat and clean. Service seemed slow and when I compare the food to others like Eddie V's, there is no comparison. Eddies food seems to be higher quality and service is impeccable. Not once was my iced tea filled for example without my asking anyone to fill it. The chicken was on par with El Pollo Loco except it had no sauce like Flemings or and type of seasoning. The swordfish peppercorn was way too spicy. Peppercorn shouldn't be overwhelming. When we were done, it took no time to get the bill though. As you can see, we eat at other fine dining establishments and this one is overpriced for what it is. And they even charge for bread!

   We were seated for our Valentine’s Day dinner five minutes early even though this was probably the restaurant’s busiest date of the year. Our waiter, Mike, is a veteran and a pro. He was very helpful, wasn’t full of himself and his knowledge and understanding of the menu as well as the type of dining experience most of his customers expect from such a we’ll know establishment, was impressive. There was nothing we asked him for which he wouldn’t have moved heaven and earth, to get for us. We had the sea bass and 8 oz. Filet as our main courses. The cut of the filet was prime and it tasted like it. It was a perfect medium rare. The sea bass was also moist and wonderful. What a great surprise this dining experience turned out to be. This was the best meal we had over our three previous nights in the Phoenix valley. Thanks Mastro’s.

   When I told our server that my filet was full of gristle he asked me what I wanted him to do about it! Tables are all packed together and it seemed like a huge pickup spot for regulars.

    Rocco was wonderful and took great care of us. It was my birthday and everyone made such a thoughtful effort to make the dinner special. The food was delicious, as usual.
