   Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A more upscale vibe for sure. The food was excellent and the service was pretty good as well. Sea bass was on point as well as the ravioli. We indulged in dessert as well and weren’t disappointed. Tiramisu, crème brûlée, chocolate cake all fantastic.

   Nice first night meal in Zurich. Fine Swiss menu with great wine list. Nice and quieter atmosphere where we could actually converse (hear and be heard). Hotel looks very nice as well.

   Die Küche war überfordert. Fleisch zu sehr durch, obwohl wir „medium“ bestellt hatten. Burger ohne Bacon bestellt, kam trotzdem mit Bacon! Nicht gut bei den Preisen!!

   The restaurant was fairly quiet when I arrived and so I chose to sit outside where there were more people. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I had red wine by the glass and the soup of the day (tomato), which was very good. The Barbaresco wine was excellent but the serving size is very small. The main course of fillet steak with sherry pepper sauce was delicious, meat tender, and cooked perfectly. Profiteroles for dessert was a beautiful plate and tasted really good. I will say that considering the restaurant didn’t seem that busy (until later), the service was occasionally very slow. However, each server was extremely polite, pleasant, and helpful whenever they were at the table, which more than made up for it. Maybe I was just sat in a difficult place being at the end. Not the cheapest meal (although there were lots of cheaper dishes on offer) but great food, friendly service, and I will definitely return.

    We had one group dinner in Zurich with a bunch of friends. And this was the perfect place to hold it. The food and wine were incredible. The service was so generous and attentive. And we have two children in tow who were made to feel welcome and lapped up their carbonara. I will recommend this place to anyone who needs a great dinner spot. We were sat outside at a cozy table with beautiful views of old town all around us. Thank you so much to everyone at Max and Otto for a meal everyone is still raving about.
