    Celebrate the Season with Max Downtown's 15th Annual Teddy Bear Tea! Max's Teddy Bear Tea is back to spread holiday cheer with you and your family. All ages are welcome and all of our guests 12 years or younger are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for patients at Connecticut Children's. We kindly ask that in your reservation you include the names of all Children who will be in attendance so our elves can get them a customized Teddy Bear to take home. We look forward to seeing the whole family here at Max Downtown for an afternoon of Tea, snacks, Candy, and fun!

    Love this place. Drinks were excellent. Apps were phenomenal. We waited almost an hour for bread and longer for meal. Steak was a hockey puck and burnt. But we love this place. Assuming it was an off night.

    The wedge salad is absolutely delicious! Burger and fries also amazing! Beautiful place, great atmosphere, great service! Enjoyed our dinner very much!

    Dinner was great! The cake in the baked Alaska was a little dry. The steak was amazing and so were the sides, very delicious and lots of flavor. I also really enjoyed the chai cocktail.

    You can’t go wrong making a reservation here. The food was great and the service was excellent! Our server’s name was Eli… (if management is listening, give this guy a raise).

    Always a very good experience - steaks are perfect temperature, service is highly attentive. Expect a bit of a delay on a very busy night (e.g. a night with multiple shows playing) and plan your reservation time accordingly.
