    This restaurant deserves its reputation as one of the top restaurants in the area. Food and service are outstanding. Ambiance is fantastic with a very low level of noise. We had a nice chat with the owner on our way out and told him that we had a great experience.

    Great service, great food. The cocktails and the appetizers were all amazing. Great place for a celebration - they gave us a complimentary celebratory dessert to-go and were very friendly and welcoming.

    As a fan of both regular and high-end restaurants, I found that the Wagyu Picanha didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the sauce was excellent and the steak was good, it lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. My kids did not enjoy their mocktails, but the cocktails were great. The creamy spinach could have used more flavor—perhaps a little extra salt would help. However, the Baked Alaska was fantastic. Overall, it was a good experience, but I wasn’t blown away. I will definitely return to try their happy hour.

    It’s a very expensive restaurant not to have everything tight. Service fell apart at the end of our meal when the large parties started arriving. The lively manager saved us (pink pants😊). Max Downtown is our favorite place. A little disappointed today.

    Our server was excellent. He was super friendly, had great suggestions for mocktails and refilled my son’s water glass constantly which is appreciated. Food was delicious and so well prepared and presented. Food delivered by the most kind and gracious gentleman. Desserts insane! Best ever soufflé and baked Alaska. Thanks for a fun evening with our teenage son!!!

    We arrived almost 30 minutes early and it was the same day as the Kentucky Derby so it was crowded at the bar but they were able to accommodate us early and seat as at a table. The food and service is always amazing. This is our favorite date night spot, we always know it will be an amazing experience.
