   DON’T EAT HERE!!!!!! I took my 75-year-old San Francisco NATIVE mother here. My mom is disabled, and the lady with the short bob haircut sits us all the way on the top floor in the back corner. I asked the hostess why we had to sit so far my mom is disabled, and she said they were too busy. We had a reservation, but obviously that doesn't mean nothing. The hostess said we get what they have. She didn't even offer us to wait for an available table on the first level. She can see my mom has a cane, and the three levels of stairs are so challenging for her, but the hostess couldn't care less. We waited forever, maybe 40 minutes, and no one came to serve us, so I went to ask the bob haircut lady. She said that they had forgotten about us and that she would send someone to help us. By this time, everyone who had sat down when we did were all finished eating, and we didn't even have water. This is really sad I loved coming here since I was a child I doubt I will return especially if the hostess with the short bob haircut is working there. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

   Our Server messed up our orders, and she rarely checked on us at all. The table was never cleared before the next course. She left half of the menus on the table. And unfortunately the food was just okay. I ordered a filet mignon and it fell flat.

   Food is great but the service is really bad! We waited for everything for so long, had reservations ,got seated and waited again…for 30 minutes before getting our drinks. Waited again to get our drinks. Took another 30 to bring it but not sure if our appetizers are available so there’s another wait. She comes back to confirm it’s available. Ok we decided to order everything so we don’t have to wait again, but she didn’t comes back here we go to wait again. Got our order for entrees and second round of drinks. Food is great! Our reservation is 7:15 we ate around 9:00 got out there before closing.

   Our server Glen was great. He has been our server on multiple occasions. I think McCormicks was under staffed a little for Christmas. But always a good dinner at McCormicks

   Restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to navigate the restaurant if you have diabilities. Food was great. Portion size was more than adequate. Everyone had a great time.

   This is a substandard restaurant. Absolutely terrible food. We ordered scallops which came under cooked. A steak that was tough and the sides were so mediocre. Way too expensive for what it is. We chose this as it was the only restaurant available on Christmas evening. The staff was courteous and tried very hard. It was just a very unfortunate meal. Way too many tourists as well.

   Very unfortunate Christmas dinner. Restaurant was sold out of salmon already despite our having a 5:30pm dinner reservation, extremely slow service, food was cold and wildly overpriced. Will not return.

   We went for dinner on Christmas Day. People sitting near us had servers who were attentive and friendly. We sat down at 4:45 and our server did not introduce herself until 5:20. Nothing. Water glasses were filled. We had to flag down a host to let them know no one had made contact and it had been 30 minutes. When Carly arrived, she barked at us. Stressed out of her mind, unaware we existed. Unaware that for us, Christmas Day was a special occasion and we were celebrating it at this restaurant instead of cooking at home - a first for our family. When I wished her a Merry Christmas hoping it would calm her, she continued to shout at us, angry, irritated. For the next 2.5 hours, we had the great misfortune to have one negative interaction after another with her. She couldn't write our orders down accurately. She couldn't remember how many of which dish. I watched longingly at the tables around us with servers who smiled, who were friendly. Each interaction with her became the subject of our holiday dinner. We were all bummed out. It was an extra expensive menu. Not worth being treated that way. We left feeling like we'd never go back.

   My friends and I were so glad that we picked such an iconic restaurant for our Christmas dinner. Although initially disappointed that they don't have the same Prix Fix as some of the other Mc Cormick and Schmick's they did have a special Prime Rib dinner. We love the seafood here and the views are always spectacular. We got the corner window spot and took in the views as we celebrated this holiday! The staff, although busy, were attentive and accommodating.

    The food was ok, but there wasn’t much of it. The three scallops were good, but the potatoes were doughy. I expected more food for almost $50. The Chef’s Journey salad was excellent and so were the oysters. I was very disappointed in the wine list. There was no rose, no Zinfandel and no red blends. There were lots of very expensive wines and lots of cabs. We will not return.
