We were there for the Thanksgiving Buffet. Our reservations were at 3 and we had to wait for over 1 hour. The Turkey, Ham get a 10 and the Prime Rib gets a 8. They ran out of a lot of food and we had to wait on rolls, mashed potatoes. No peel and eat shrimp at all. The service was great! They were not prepared for the number of people that made reservations. Our experience at the Friday night Seafood Buffet has always been good.

Reservation was for 3p, they finally seated us at 4p. Food was cold, they ran out of many items, had to ask them repeatedly to replenish plates. It was a complete mess considering the cost of over $50 a head including children who eat nothing. The staff was doing their best, I blame management for this utter failure. Last time I eat here.

Reservation was 3 and we didn’t get seated until 3:45. Ran out of some of the food. Because you had to pay ahead of time you could not go anywhere else. Kept running out of plates to eat off of. It was a really bad experience. Food was ok if you could get any. My making a reservation you would think they could have enough food. Price was too high for what there was. First time I got to experience going out for thanksgiving and it was just a big let down. I hope something can be done about it.

I appreciate the hard work that went into arranging all this. But, I hate to report that the wait was too long for a reservation. Most of the food I had was cold. Chicken was completely cold, deserts was very few and cold. The food containers should have been kept very warm with the lighted candles beneath but apparently those were no longer lit. Other than the Bananas Foster was warm, of course, but I don't care for that. Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie were very cold. I didn't see any other desserts - no Red Velvet cake that is usually the normal at holidays. All at our table was disappointed so we will not be returning.

I had a reservation yet had to wait over an hour to be seated. My mother is handicapped so this was very unacceptable! We had to stand in the hallway with no where to sit! Why did they over book and why did you not put out seats for everyone in the hallway to sit?? Most of the food was bland tasting and believe it or not, they ran out of “Dressing”. I mean that’s what we came for, Turkey and Dressing!! The waitress sat us down and said to help ourselves. Upon getting back to our table, they had sat someone else at our table, WHAT??? So we just stood there like idiots with our food and no place to sit. Finally someone came and took us to another table across the room!!! Will “NEVER” eat here again. Just wanted $160 and ruined Thanksgiving!!!

Our Reservations were for 215 and we were not seated until 315. The waiting area was overcrowded with. people who were very upset and complaining and there were at least 30% tables empty and not cleaned. They were seating 2 party people that were complaining who had reservations at 245 and 3 ahead of us. The Restaurant was unprepared for the amount of guests that were there. They also ran out of several food items as we were initially seated and we had to wait up to 15 minutes before the food was ready. This was my first time eating out on Thanksgiving and my first time eating at The Meadows. My family and I were very disappointed and will not be dinning there again. It’s shameful people prepaid for the thoughts of a wonderful experience and we’re totally let down with no where else to go.

We waited for over an hour. It was noisy and chaotic. There wasn’t enough wait staff so it took forever to get drinks and service. The food was cold and most desserts were empty. Not worth the cost

We made reservations to dine in Meadows restaurant, which is a nice intimate space which we frequent. Upon contacting Meadows restaurant before making reservations, we were assured our reservation was in the restaurant, as the cheaper buffet option in the banquet space was for a sports group in-house. Upon arrival, management decided to close the restaurant altogether and serve "banquet style" in the ballroom with guests seated at folding banquet tables and banquet chairs. Food was not in the traditional buffet warmers in the restaurant, hence it was cold. Long wait times for carving station to be replenished, and desserts were sparce by 3:00 p.m. We specifically booked this restaurant for the ambiance and personalized service. Reservations required pre-payment plus 20% gratuity, but service was non-existent. Very disappointed and very deceptive of Marriott and their Meadows restaurant management. As regulars supporting this local business for many years, we truly expected more.
