Meat On Ocean is a meat-centric, modern steakhouse in Santa Monica that offers both a sense of adventure and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Beyond the offerings of a world-class steakhouse, Meat On Ocean features an artisanal charcuterie bar, an exhibition dry-aging room and a variety of prime beef – from dry-aged domestic cuts to Japanese A-5. Integral to the operation is a highly trained crew of servers and butchers, who communicate directly with Guests about the beef, organically farmed chickens, house made sausages, choice seafood and more.

Located on the corner of Ocean and Broadway, Meat On Ocean is steps from the action - including the Santa Monica Pier, shopping and hotels.

Starting May 2024, Meat On Ocean is also your headquarters for private dining and events, with customizable spaces that are perfect for social events, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, wedding receptions and ceremonies, with full audio/visual connectivity.

    We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year at Meat on Ocean in Santa Monica. Reserve your table today and leave the details to us on Thursday, November 28. Our three-course Thanksgiving menu will be available all day, featuring your choice of starter (clam chowder or mixed organic greens), choice of entrée (Diestel roasted turkey, served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, traditional cranberry sauce, homemade sourdough apple-celery stuffing and turkey gravy) and your choice of dessert (pumpkin cheesecake or old fashioned chocolate cake). Adults are $72 and children (under 12) are $26 per person. Our full menu will also be available all day.

    The clam chowder was excellent, but the rest of the food was just ok. The steak was underwhelming for the price (I went for an aged ribeye). If you go, just go for one of the regular steaks on the menu and get it blackened or one of the other styles, and be sure to get a sauce with it.

    Steaks are 10/10…no more words needed other than you need to try for yourself. Mac and cheese needs crispier bacon More Parmesan on the cauliflower More raspberry sauce on the chocolate cake

    My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience celebrating our anniversary together at Meat on Ocean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and both the hostess and our server was so sweet to wish us a happy anniversary. The food was amazing, the service excellent and we had a WONDERFUL time! We cannot wait to go back!

    Really good steakhouse that doesn’t try to be overly fancy. Meat quality was there and cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes are great as a side too

    Meat On Ocean was perfect for our birthday celebration. We selected the grass fed Ribeyes for our main courses. The steaks were done to perfection. Don't miss the amazing butcher bread. Dessert was included for our birthdays. Get a booth against the back wall for privacy and people watching.
