   My husband and I went to La Valencia on New Year’s Day for lunch and it was perfect! Our waiter, Michael, was amazing and provided the best service!  the food was just what we wanted and so delicious! This is why we love to go to La Valencia. It’s a beautiful hotel with wonderful service. 💗🌹

   We were here for NY & the food was very average but for the price it was terrible. For 3 adults & 2 kids the cost was roughly $1,000 - with 2 drinks. Service was also poor. A definite no from me.

   NYE dinner here. Poblano soup was amazing, salad just ok, steak was overcooked, potatoes too salty, dessert was good. Service was ok, nice waiter but not very attentive. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

   Been taking the family to celebrate new yrs eve for the past 3 yrs at La Valencia. It’s been a great experience with great food except for our most recent experience. The appetizers were disappointing and main dishes a bit uninspired. Also, kids options were usually excellent and this time around they under performed on flavor. Great atmosphere and service but food was not to our expectations based on how they impressed us in the past.

    Other than the view, the food and service were subpar. Especially for the VERY high cost. Everything looked and tasted as though it had been left out for hours. All the tea sandwich bread and pastries were either stale or mushy.  We had to flag down a server to have tea refilled and to ask for a half glass refill on the champagne. its was all more than underwhelming and disappointing.
