   Excellent!!! As soon as we walked in the door, everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is stunning. You feel like you've been transported to Greece. We were there for lunch and the menu was perfect. We started with the Meli Chips and they were delicious. Two of us had the Pork Suvlaki and it was cooked to perfection, served on top of a pita with very fresh lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. The French Fries were just as good. Paired with one of their Greek Wines. The pairing worked really well with the food. A definite GEM of a restaurant!!!

   Wanted to try Melì as it’s a new restaurant in the neighborhood. The ambiance was nice. The pink flowers on the ceilings, raffia chandeliers and white painted brick walls are pretty. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was average. The lobster pasta was bland but had nice chunks of lobster. The salmon entree was nice, with apricots in the farro. The Bombolino donuts with Nutella were the best part!! The bar area looked nice as well. And the DJ was playing cool music. Want to try again during Brunch!

   So nice to have a greek spot in Middle Village. It's a super cute spot, great ambiance and service was great! It's a fun time and a great spot to go for some drinks. The drinks were perfect, went down smooth carefully curated. The food is where it missed for me. The appetizer (grilled calamari) and bread and olive oil were good, but the Fagri and lamb chops were just not worth it. The lamb chops are 60 dollars for 3 tiny lamb chops and a side of fries. They were over cooked and dry. The fish was gummy and slightly fishy tasting. So upsetting:(. But would try again just with different food.

   Sat quickly, ordered Meli zucchini chips were good, grilled octopus cooked well but could have used a splash of lemon, salmon was cooked medium very good but could have done without the chopped nuts, shrimp dish was in red sauce tasty. dessert was good. No DJ last night but very nice atmosphere. Bar is nice as well.

   First time eating at this venue and we were very happy. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The ambiance is beautiful and everything we ordered was very good. We went for lunch on a Saturday and it was delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Meli is absolutely great! My husband and I went Saturday evening and as usual Meli did not disappoint on any count. The Meli vegetable chips were absolutely addictive and the tuna tartar has become a favorite of ours. We both had fish and it was cooked perfectly. Flakey and tender it was a great meal. We finished off with coffee and Ekmek for dessert which was light and sweet without being overly so and the perfect end to our evening. The service is attentive and prompt and while music was playing it was not so loud as to make any conversation difficult. We love coming here and Meli is great from start to finish!

   I had a wonderful lunch at this new bright modern restaurant. The food was aesthetically pleasing and delicious. The service was excellent. I look forward to returning again.

    Beautiful restaurant. Food was very good Went for a dj event so noise level was a little high but lots of fun. Great atmosphere.
