Melograno was established in 2003 by Chef Gianluca Demontis & Rosemarie Tran. The couple met in Rome when Rose was studying abroad. When Luca relocated to Philadelphia they wanted to represent his roots. Located in the beautiful Rittenhouse Square, surrounded by shops and entertainment. Melograno is a warm haven for good food and comforting service. A place to enjoy with friends and family. We are a BYOB so bring the spirits of your choice, we are happy to serve you.

                                                    WE just love this restaurant - Food is amazing the Bucatini was so very good and it is not something you can find in any Italian restaurant. The tiramisu was so creamy and light. Food, service and ambiance were spot on. Our waiter Marco was a sweetheart. Can't wait to return.

                                                    Overall it was a nice experience. Service was attentive, although it was super quiet. Food was fine, I would rave about any particular dish, Beet ravioli wasn’t bad, Branzino was pretty good. Service was personable and the ambiance is very cute, definitely feels like a cute get away date night spot. I’d be interested in going again to see other items on the menu, to see if something wows me.

                                                    Great experience. Starting with the service. We felt treated like family. Marco our waiter is terrific. We enjoyed some small plates and appetizers. Everything was excellent. Can’t wait to go back again.
