   By far one of the best restaurants in the New Orleans area. Food is always on point. Service is impeccable. Our go-to restaurant for out of town guests and functions. MeMe’s is a can’t miss!

   On a whim I booked this last minute. We had a great time and Ashley, our server was amazing and she put up with us! Maitre'd was also top knotch. Everything was quite tasty and we will return.

   This is not a fine dining restaurant revolution style place; but it’s not trying to be. However, the service is as good as in any fine dining restaurant I have ever been. The waiter actually apologized because one time I filled my own glass from the community glass bottle of water on the table when he walked by. This was not his fault at all, because I had just downed the glass in two gulps; being severely dehydrated. But that’s the point, he literally felt a sense of self-critical shame in it. You could see it in his face. It’s the reaction of a person who takes his job performance personal. In that regard, it doesn’t matter what the food taste like, because that level of personal attention makes the entire experience worthwhile. We had two waiters and both were exceptionally polite and attentive. The owner, the rest of the staff, same vibe. This whole place had this feel. It was comforting and welcoming. I think some people here got furloughed from nice resteraunt(s) in NO and came together to open and run this place. If that’s true, considering the food and service, you really should try this place and support them. This is how greatness is born and doing how they are doing under this economic scenario is exceptional. Oysters were cooked fantastic, as was the cook with everything. Food was very flavorful; filling and wholesome without the dressing of pretentiousness. I felt like I was going back in time to a better time. Get a dozen oysters and try all the different types first to get a feel. Wife had a tropical breeze mixed drink, I describe as a variation of a pain killer, truly delicious each and every time it came out. Bread pudding was exceptional and I hate bread pudding. I heard it was great, so I tried it without ice cream to see. It was exceptional. Portions are large, bigger than my wife and I need, and I don’t see how anybody could expect more. Considering the quality, flavor and quantity, very impressed. So the value is a 5.

   EXCELLENT food and service. We had prime rib, chargrilled oysters and roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was really good as was the service. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Best restaurant in Chalmette area.

    This was our first time to MeMe's Bar & Grille. It was amazing. Food and service was wonderful. So attentive and friendly. We will surely be back. My wife never ate oysters before, but she ordered the grilled oyster quiche. Waitress recommended it. So delicious. She wants to make this our new wedding anniversary restaurant. We tried MeMe's cause they were on the Coolinary New Orleans Restaurant list. Omg. So very happy we did. All the courses were delicious. But they did also offer us their regular lunch menus too. So many options. Go to MeMe's any time. You will not be disappointed. A great date or special occasion resturant. I can't say enough good .
