   The food was presented beautifully, and the service was great. The flavours and combinations were delicious, some small issues but made the chef aware and they took it on board gracefully. Also, there was no a la carte menu which was a little disappointing as we had planned what we wanted to order, but only a set menu was available on the day. The octopus was deliciously tender and flavoursome! And although the portions looked small, we were so full we didn't make it to dessert. Would expect the surf and turf to be a larger portion for the extra supplement of £15, not much meat, but we were still full at the end of the main course. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and as we were the only ones there we were waited on hand and foot, planning to go back when it is busier for sure. The cocktails were quite yummy and the restaurant is very smart looking, but the toilet area needs work. Thank you to the whole team for being so attentive and welcoming!

   Lovely lunch and the food and cocktails were extremely good. The restaurant lighting was very bright, it would have been better a little dimmer but other than that it was a special afternoon and we will be back. The venison was amazing !!

   Lovely, friendly service levels, with a very nice atmosphere. Food was great. Nice to see a good neighbourhood restaurant back in this spot, vacated by Bar 97.

   The first Michellin Star of Surbiton should go to Mem’s! Many thanks for the special Amuse Bouche with spinach stuffed bulgur roll a la Mem’s -it’s delicious and very healthy too

   The food was delicious as always but unfortunately we were put in the back outside part of the restaurant even though had called and asked to be in the main restaurant. The back room has a very strong smell of drains. The restaurant is very good value for the quality of food but would not want to ever be out in the back room again, there is little atmosphere. A real shame as I was taking friends who don’t know the area.

    We had a lovely evening at Mem’s by there were a few areas that could be improved which meant I couldn’t give it 5 stars: 1. We had pre-dinner drinks downstairs - unfortunately the bar had zero atmosphere & a slightly awkward barman 2. Our waitress was very nice but seemed very inexperienced - she literally couldn’t answer a single question without referring elsewhere - eg “can I have a starter as a main course” & when the side dish failed to come she just said the kitchen hadn’t given it to her 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3. We sat in the converted garden extension - it felt a bit like camping out compared to the main dining area
