Mercer Roof Terrace, located on the 7th floor of Vintry & Mercer, takes in the sweep of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard.

Outside, guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience above the city lights in a partially covered settings with comfy blankets and overhead heating perfect for chilly evenings.

Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky.

You can enjoy a menu that celebrates the best of modern English cooking, showcasing farm-to-table meat, fish and seasonal vegetables cooked using our charcoal oven and our house infused craft cocktails displayed in colourful glass carafes on the bar.

Our Crown Afternoon Tea is a truly majestic gastronomic experience, and a twist on what has long been considered a great British institution. Join us to raise a glass to the Royals. Each beautifully presented serving comes bedecked with the finest sweet and savory treats. Enjoy with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Brut NV or Rose Champagne, or Wild Idol alcohol free sparkling rose, and our selection of teas. We also have a Prince & Princess option, perfect for children, as well as some equally tempting vegetarian alternatives.

Was a great birthday dinner experience on the terrace. Although the night was cool the heat lamps made it warm. Food was quite amazing esp the fish dishes. Cocktails were unique and good service.

impossible to know in advance where you’ll be sitting. We were lucky and got a nice table inside, near the glass with a glimpse of St Paul in the background. The menu à la carte was reasonably priced. My husband wasn’t impressed by his starter (beef tartare) but both our main courses (duck breast and lamb chops) were very good. The Pinot Noir was also nice. We’ll be back in summer

Beautiful venue hidden away with amazing views. Consistently excellent service and food. Slightly overpriced wine list but to be expected. Great place to linger over good conversation as you can actually hear one another rather than being deafened by too loud music!
