Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

    Merrimans is an absolute MUST for our family when we are in Maui; it is our favorite restaurant on the island. We love Mama's too, but there's just something about Merrimans..... The setting is spectacular and we always take advantage of the backdrop for beautiful family photos. The restaurant itself is designed so there really isn't a "bad table" in the entire establishment. The food is really delicious and can be accompanied by lovely cocktail and wine selections. Servers are gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating. The live music consistently adds magic to the ambiance. There were a few visits after 2020 that we left feeling disappointed, but the last few years have consistently proven our favorite restaurant is BACK!

    The food, service, and ambiance were exceptional at Merriman’s tonight! The sun was setting, food came quickly, service was delightful and we all agreed that it was one of the best meals we’ve enjoyed together. The fish special, the filet with a couple scallops, the beet salad, the poke bowl from the raw menu were all excellent. I wasn’t sure if I was going to regret getting a filet in Hawaii over fish…I was so pleased with the great filet my son and I got. And the amazing food continued through dessert! We get the bread pudding (ended up getting 2 because my wife loved it so much she didn’t want to share) and I got the chocolate purse that for us chocolate lovers really hit the spot! It was an all around delightfully memorable experience!

    It was our first anniversary celebration, and the staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. We were given a window table with a beautiful view of the sunset, along with a personalized menu, congratulating us on our anniversary. To top it off, MaKenna (our server) was incredibly attentive throughout our meal and made the experience absolutely perfect!
