   Food is consistently fire - innovative, flavorful, hints of Marcus everywhere dating back to his time at aquavit in the 90s (I was around then) - also. Ashley makes amazing drinks!! Love this place and all you do. Thanks, and see you soon!

   To eat we had the oysters, corn bread, peekytoe crab, and lobster linguine. For drinks we had the Flying Fish, Baked Apple, and Harvest Martini. For dessert we had the popcorn ice cream. Drinks were delicious! Although the Flying Fish was served in a silly fish pitcher with two bendy straws and wasn’t easily shared across the table. Oysters were served a la carte table side which was a fun touch. Corn brew was really good. Loved the goat butter. Peekytoe crab is a soup so keep that in mind if you’re planning to share. The lobster linguine was okay. The lobster was chewy and there weren’t enough noodles in my opinion. Would probably try another main next time. Popcorn ice cream was good, just had a lot of hard kernels. I guess that’s just the risk you take with popcorn though. Overall I had a great time and would come back, but it was a little annoying to have our meal interrupted several times by 3 different people to ask if we were “still working”. The restaurant was far from packed with about 70% of tables empty on a Tuesday night so it was confusing to feel so rushed.

   Highly recommend! Beautiful ambiance , patient and polite staff , and food 10/10 . The music was at a decent volume where we didn’t have to yell to hear each other . Overall 10/10

   The food we received was amazing. They didn’t have a dish on the menu. I asked for Tonic water twice and they brought soda water twice. I ordered a coffee after dinner which they forgot to bring but did try to charge me for. Listen, I suspect this place could be good if Marcus Samuelson was more involved. As it is, it’s pretty sloppy sheik.

   This was the most amazing experience I've had in a long time! The food, the ambiance, the service was amazing. The restaurant is in an awesome location. The director, Isaiah, greeted my girlfriend and I and made sure our expectations were achieved. Our waiter, Ira, was also amazing with his service as well. I raved about this restaurant to all my friends the next day. My girlfriend and I will definitely be returning for another date with other friends of ours!

   The staffs personality, their kindness, their company was great. ESPECIALLY Isaiah. Our server was very kind, all the staff who stopped by to clear plates, bring water, etc were amazing. My only concern was the server not properly telling me what had wheat/gluten in it or the server being uneducated on what had wheat/gluten. I have a lot of food sensitivity in addition to some gut issues. We called prior to making reservations to inquire if the restaurant had gluten free options and was informed that they did. My server shared incorrect information about items that were "gluten free", which I ordered and then later found out was made with wheat after asking for the ingredient list. I did not eat the item, thank goodness, and was spared the aftermath of eating wheat, but that could have gotten very dangerous if I ate the food. I did share with the server that the ingredients do include wheat/gluten so it is not offered to another gluten intolerant customer. The server was apologetic. He was very polite, but I also felt like I couldn't trust what he told me I could or couldn't eat safely with my intolerances. The restaurant was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the food I did eat. This was my first time eating out at a restaurant in over 8 weeks following an intense detox. Glad this was my first outing. Would love to return.

   I had a great experience at Metropolis! The decor and ambiance were just perfect—cozy yet elegant. The food was delicious and the cocktails were great. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the night even better. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

    Great food and vibes. The service left a lot to be desired, but as this could be a one-off issue, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to friends!
