We waited at the host stand for almost 5 minutes, bypassed by two waitresses before the host appeared. Once we were sat, we waited awhile longer. Once the waitress came, we ordered our drinks and appetizer. She never checked on us until our appetizer was brought which is when we ordered our food. She never checked on us again. The holiday sangria was bland as well as the pasta dish. My friend’s gnocchi was undercooked but she never came back for us to tell her so when she finally reappeared we just had her take it off the bill. In her defense, it looked like there were only two servers working that night, but there were other staff around that could have picked up the slack. I used to work in the service industry, it’s a team effort.

Seemed very understaffed, especially for a 7:30 reservation on a Friday night. The charcuterie board meats were very underwhelming. Deli Mortadella and salami don’t necessarily scream this is worth $25 a board. The food was inconsistent. A few of us ordered the same short rib ragu and each plate had varying amounts of short rib and ricotta. Mine had very little of either. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was great. I’ve had great experiences here before. Maybe it was just and off night.

Service was terrible, we were there for an hour and 15 min - only had apps - waiter never came to take dinner order. Out of main dishes, Miller Lite, Pinot Grigio. Corona was brought in a can which was fine but was warm. Paid for drinks and apps and left, will never go back.

Food just ok. Sign of the times. Prosciutto on the pizza burnt and barely visible. Beet salad with mostly greens and few accompaniments. Beef short ribs excellent and best deal there. Service was good.

Great looking restaurant. Server was good but time for food to come out was slow. Pasta dishes were was not nearly as seasoned as expected and disappointing. Pizzas looked good, should have ordered one to try.

AWESOME! We enjoyed a great dinner last night at Mezzo! We hadn't been there in a while. Since our last visit some new things were added to the menu and we decided to try three of them. We had the small plates of the lump crab cakes, and short rib and we shared the gnocchi with vodka sauce! The crab cakes were delicious and the side of aioli really made them shine! The short rib, bar none, was literally melt-in-your-mouth spectacular!!!!! The vodka sauce on the gnocchi had a hint of "spice" and the wilted spinach in the sauce made for another fabulous dish!!! A shout out to Jeffrey our server to Mike the manager and a BIG SHOUT OUT to the kitchen!!! Great job everyone!! Many thanks from this foodie!!!
