MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open in the bustling Fenway neighborhood. This outpost of our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated just a few blocks from Fenway Park within close walking distance to several destinations including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Beth Israel Medical Campus. Come enjoy staple dishes from our scratch kitchen such as Gnocchi Cacio e Pepe, New Haven-Style thin crust pizza, crispy Arancini, and much more. The restaurant features a contemporary but comfortable aesthetic that lends itself to any occasion from the perfect date night, a quick lunch, or large private events. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, a gorgeous lighting profile, and a covered patio make this location the perfect Fenway escape.     MIDA is spreading the love this Valentine's Day with a special three-course menu. Not to mention, roses and dim lighting make us the coziest date spot there is. Friday, February 14th, guests can enjoy our chef's menu ($75) with the option to add wine pairings ($37) and succulent lobster scampi with caviar ($mkt). Delicious dishes like risotto alla zucca gialla, braised beef or the chocolate egg cream, make this the perfect romantic dinner date.     The food is consistently amazing. Mussels were delicious with the right amount of spices. And the prosciutto and ricotta was a great combination. The French toast is like nothing I’ve ever had, however the service was less than desirable. We waited 10 mins to be asked if we wanted a drink. When she brought the drink she reached across my face to deliver it, no thank you. Then when it came time to deliver the check, she asked if we wanted dessert, and we said no. Then she walked away and came back asking if we wanted expresso or cappuccino which we said no, which should have signaled to her that we wanted a check, but I had to ask her for it. For such amazing food, I expect more out of the wait staff.

    We had such a wonderful time at MIDA for our two year anniversary! The service was exceptional and we absolutely loved our food! MIDA has a great atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back.

    My second time there in 6weeks and Mida did not disappoint. The food was excellent but the service was amazing. Grace, our server both times, is truly outstanding in personality and service. The ambiance is on par with any of Boston’s top restaurants and the price point is surprisingly moderate. I encourage you to try out Mida, just stay away from my favorite booth😉

    Celebrated a birthday and enjoyed the mussels and swordfish. My plate was well portioned and served nice and hot. My drink was delicious and a nice alternate suggested by the server. I will be back for some more of those mussels!

    A very pleasant and enjoyable surprise to first timers at Mida traveling from Connecticut to visit two Boston museums. This was the ideal meal in between, and added tremendously to our day. The restaurant had been highly recommended by Boston-based friends. They were right on the money! The food, service, and ambience were all spectacular and we felt totally fine with the amount we paid for the excellent food served to us. A couple of special requests were graciously received and perfectly executed. We will definitely be back!
