   Had a lovely meal on a Friday night. Food was very good, with lots of options available. Service was faultless. Attention to the right details such as checking for allergies and follow that up with the kitchen to ensure safety. Lucky to receive a complementary vegan chocolate tarte too which was absolutely delicious. Only real shame was that it was pretty much empty. Not many good restaurants in Potters Bar so would be great to see this place busy and thriving as a bit of an atmosphere would have made it better! Definitely recommend this lovely restaurant though. Didn’t have one but the cocktail menu looked good too!

   Second visit to Middeys and definately better than the first some months ago. Staff more attentive and tables being cleaned more obviously. Food quality good and nicely presented, service waits short and all dishes came out together this time. Prefer the new daytime menu and would now recommend to others.

   Our first visit here, and we will be back asap! The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Lots of decor, flowers and famous faces on the walls to look at. Kids menu was just right. Cocktails were DELICIOUS. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Our waitress, emma, was so attentive and friendly. She went out of her way to make my birthday special and was lovely with our children. 10/10 and cant wait to go back :)

   Excellent food and service. Friendly and efficient staff. Expected restaurant to be busier on a Wednesday and it was very quiet - hence very little atmosphere particularly when compared with their sister restaurant in Cockfosters . We all thought it was a tad expensive, but because the food and service was so good, this will not stop us from visiting again. Potters Bar needed another decent restaurant and this restaurant fills that need Just needs more people to create an atmosphere!

   Lovely to experience Middeys in Potters Bar after it took so long to open it’s beautiful inside nicely furnished lovely relaxing music lovely staff making you feel special. However was expecting same menu as Cockfosters middeys this menu was very limited struggled to find something / anything i’d like and much more expensive drinks very ezpensive too £4 for a diet coke! £12 for the tiniest cocktail. Unless they review this sadly cant see it lasting which would be a shame :( could be the gem of potters bar but in this climate way over priced sadly.

    Having visited the Cockfosters Middeys many times we expected tilhe menu to be comparable in choice and cost. Because of this I didn't look at the menu online before going,, so partly my fault! 2 of us, 1 starter and one main meal each. We had 1 large bottle of sparkling water (which was an unbelievable price of £7.50!!) and our bill.was £99.11 which included over £11 of service charge. I think a service charge for 2 people is a bit excessive and that coupled with the cost of the water alone is sadly enough for us not to visit again as although the food was tasty, it wasn't good value for money. Its a shame as the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and furnished.
