   The food was pretty good. The establishment is small so having reservations are best if you plan to do a weekend visit. It gets packed fairly easily due to the limited space. Overall, my children and I enjoyed what we ordered.

   Great atmosphere for brunch! The deviled eggs were delicious, but the jumbo chicken and biscuits stole the show. Veronica made sure that coffee and breakfast got to us perfectly. Milk and honey is fantastic!

   Worth noting this was a Valentines Day visit, reservations were made, and you could see online they were going to be busy. It’s one thing to be understaffed, but that was not the real issue. The management and hostess had no idea how to handle the situation or even address the upset customers. From the time we walked in and sat down to the moment we were plated was 90 minutes. We were seated promptly, however it was 15 minutes before our waitress acknowledged us and took our drinks. Ordered a cocktail, and it was another 15 before it showed up with most of the ice melted in the drink watering it down. It was clearly ready on time, but did not make it to the table. The appetizer (Old Bay Honey Glazed) arrived in a timely manner, and they were delicious! Prior to their arrival, we placed our order for the Shrimp and Grits and the Jambalaya. The tables around us all arrived and had been seated well before us. After an hour, no food, and the surrounding tables had no food either. You could see the frustration at each of the tables, but neither the manager or the hostess did anything to address the situation. They did not bother to explain they were short staffed, or even offer anything to make the situation right. Multiple tables got impatient, cancelled orders and closed the check, expressing their aggravation at having spent the last 60-90minutes waiting to be fed. Its clear that customer service is something that is being developed, but while the staff was friendly, they were clueless as to how the situation should have been handled. To make matters worse, the jambalaya was not great. The shrimp and grits were fine, but you could tell things were rushed back in the kitchen and the food was the result, with the customer left paying the price (pun intended). This restaurant has promise, and I had no expectations when I arrived, but sadly I won't be back. I don't have 90-minutes to wait for a meal. Do better!

   We had Dee as our server and she was amazing! Professional yet personable. She made some great recommendations and checked on us the appropriate amount without being overbearing. And at the end, I forgot my to-go box on the table and she ran outside to us to wave me down! We will definitely be back and asking for Dee!!

   Our server was fantastic. That said, she was the only server is the restaurant on a Saturday night! She was running between tables and working the job of two or more, but she remained pleasant and always had a smile on her face. Management needs to address its staffing levels/issues.    We love Milk & Honey! The menu switched up on us so that was a surprise as my daughter had her heart set on the sweet potato waffles. I was sadden there wasn’t salmon but the catfish is always my favorite and substituted well with the hash. The lavender lemonade is also a favorite of ours and little more fizzier per my daughter than usual. Loved seeing the crab cakes on the menu so we’ll try that next time.

   Great experience highly recommend the chicken and Biscoff waffles! The only complaint we had was at the music was way too loud. We could barely talk other than that five stars all around.

   Food was tasty but overpriced for a strip mall restaurant. Service was adequate but our server just appeared after we finished eating with the bill; didn't ask if we would like anything else or refills on our drinks. Our primary complaint was the noise level; the background music was way too loud so it was difficult to carry on a normal conversation at our table.

    Was there with girlfriends to have a leisurely brunch. Felt rushed when the waiter rolled his eyes after we told him we weren’t ready for the check.
