   Amazing service with wonderful tasty dishes. I got the “half chicken” and my partner had the “steak”. All I have to say was the portions were pretty huge and very delicious. Definitely would come back and recommend everyone to give it a try.

   For the price of dinner and the atmosphere we were a little disappointed. Waited over an hour to actually receive our dinner. Waited for our drinks which we could see sitting at the bar. Maybe the staff couldn’t handle the attentiveness but they were busy doing other things not making sure their customers were tended to. Many other choices of restaurants in town we would visit again before choosing returning here

   Great service and amazing food ! We had the mashed potatoes, ribeye with squash and the bison burger. All cooked great and wonderful

   This was my 3rd visit to Mill Valley Kitchen and it was lovely. The service was superb-attentive, efficient and knowledgeable- and with a smile. Our favorite foods: the perfectly prepared vegetable tempura. Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, nice variety of flavors/veggies and very light batter. Also the chili was a pleasant surprise. Smashed potatoes (appetizer) were a large portion and could have been a bit more heavily seasoned but enjoyed them. Brussels sprouts were great too. Add all that to the pleasant atmosphere and nice selection of wine, we’ll be back.

   The food was well presented and genuine. Portions were not large but prices were reasonable and the menu was somewhat creative. I would recommend.

   This restaurant is one of the few in Rochester that the sound level is not painfully loud and one can actually enjoy conversation when you dine. The menu has different offerings from many of Rochesters upscale restaurants. I had the salmon burger which was average. My dining partner had chicken and smashed potatoes which he said were ok which is his comment on most food. Our server Sydney was excellent as was the latte I had to finish off the meal. It was my third time there. I think I just made the wrong food choice for me as I have really enjoyed their salads in the past. I love the design of the restaurant with it modern clean but warm lines.

   Mill Valley has outstanding food for a decent price but the ambience of the restaurant needs some work. It has decent decor and layout but the lighting was way too bright. This place has very good food and a very different menu than most of the Rochester menu so we were sorry to see that it did not have many people in it for a holiday week evening. But the lighting in the place made it feel more like a cheap diner in terms of ambience. Food service was a little bit slow, especially given that there were less than 10 groups in the place.

    First time for dinner at this relatively new restaurant in Rochester. Unique well crafted reasonably priced cocktails. There was an amazing crab leg special. Our servers recommended chicken with risotto and it was excellent. Great food at moderate prices. I’ll definitely be back
