   Dined at M&L on New Year's Eve. Had been there once before. We had a 5pm seating, and were the 3rd to be seated. It took 35 minutes to get drinks ordered. We ordered food (table of 4). Oysters arrived before drinks. Then within minutes, appetizers showed up. We had table side salad being prepared, as well as soups. I sent back the soups and asked them to slow the service as we 'd just gotten drinks and hadn't started the oysters. The soups didn't come back, I had to ask for them (while our dinner companions were half way through eating their salads). The entrees arrived. We ordered a bone in new york, and wagyu ribeye. These steaks were BOTH were cold. It was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. The manager(?) happened to walk by and ask us how our food was. We kindly said that the steaks were cold. Rather than offer to give us new steaks, he proceeded to tell us that the way the steaks are cooked leaves them 'warm' in the middle (medium rare). I expressed that I knew food, and that the outside should be hot. All he offered was to bring a hot plate. Also worth mentioning, table of 4 configuration is awful, as the people on the ends cannot reach the food that is 'shared'!! We had to stand up to serve our food. Our dinner cost >1k and I ate cold steak. It was a HORRIBLE experience. NEVER going back there again.

   Oh if you only have one night Yo live… spend it at Miller and Lux.. Every detail stunning… food unbelievable, service immaculate Big bill but worth every cent…. The most special occasion ever..

    This is always a reliable place for a pleasant experience. The food is very well prepared. Cocktails are perfectly done. The service is warm and helpful but not yet at the Michelin star level of polish. We will be back.
