First time there… probably won’t go back unless someone else makes the plans. Went there for Mother’s Day brunch - people were nice but lacked the food expectations. Had to pay $51 for my 17yr old daughter who does care for all the fancy foods, so only had fruit & bacon. The buffet needs to include the basics - scrambled eggs, pancakes or waffles, croissants, etc. Didn’t see the normal menu so can only comment on the buffett brunch.

Food was pretty good, but would have been better with a bread basket at beginning. Never asked if we would like a beverage other than water. Plate had a nice portion of salmon, but only 4 asparagus spears.

Went for restaurant week. The lineup looked good but the flavor was disappointing especially the curry risotto. It wasn't really a curry or a risotto, more like a weird indian jambalaya. The matcha cake was the best part of the meal.

The entry way should have been the honest giveaway to turn around and cancel this reservation. The cement steps were broken exposing an interior metal rod. The attempt to paint that step bright yellow was a lazy attempt to fixing the problem. Entering the restaurant area was somewhat confusing the host stand was set behind a pillar on the other side of the entrance facing the interior hallway to the hotel lobby. It took awhile for someone to greet us, eventually it was the very friendly upbeat bar tender. She quickly grabbed menus and actually asked where we would like to be seated ! That was true hospitality. The carpet was dirty and worn and the table and chairs and booths were extremely dated dark brown decor. Definite Unappealing and drab. Ordered the seared tuna and it was cooked perfectly but it was from a frozen state and there was absolutely no flavor. The coconut curry over risotto was like a ladle of lumpy beans and a few mushrooms. Overall was the worst meal I have ever experienced. Needless to say I only had a couple bites of these two menu items. The matcha cake was dry and over matcha flavored. I only had one bite! It’s a place I definitely will never go back to !!

We had a table of 8 for New Years Eve. I understand it was busy, but the food took over an hour to arrive and was not hot when it was delivered. We asked for nachos for appetizers, but they arrived with the food. It didn’t seem excessively busy. The whitefish was mostly breading. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

I felt that the food was not a good as it used to be. The chafen dishes were not marked as to what was in them. The food was not rotated the fish looked like it was burned, too much sauce on the pork loin. The chicken did not look appetizing. Dessert table looked messy there was not much of a selection. The bartender was not very friendly no attentive did not check to see if the food was fine. I also felt that the price was a little high for what you got. I have been to several of the buffets and they were much better in previous years. I do not think that I will return to Minerva's again. Sorry

This was the Christmas Day buffet for $54. The food was all cold at our time of reservation which was 3:45pm. Not worth the price and we were all very disappointed.
