Exceptional service, Tony went out of his way to look after our party of three. The wine list was fantastic, great Negroni's, whisky selection and I can't recommend this place highly enough. Tony also showed us some traditional Chinese off the second menu, and the food was amazing. I'll be back and will be telling my friends to try it too. Thanks for making it a great night.

We went there for my husbands birthday celebration (mentioned on the reservation on Open Table). But only as we were leaving, we were told they gave out free champagne for the birthday person, which my husband didn't get. We ordered the supreme banquet ($128pp). The choice of the dessert as part of the banquet was either coconut panna cotta or chocolate mousse. My husband was quite looking forward to having the chocolate mousse. However, when it was time for dessert time, we were told that none of the options were available. We were offered mango panda cotta or matcha cheesecake. The food was nice, service was good and we enjoyed every single course. It would have been nice if they told us about the change of desserts, though. The biggest gripe about the dining experience is the noise from a group of diners who was sitting in a "private" room with pigeon holes windows. It wasn't very private after all when people sit near it could hear the loud cheers coming from there. Quite a disappointing experience for what we paid for.

Ming Dining, was exactly what I hoped it would be. I chose it for my 30th celebrations coming up soon so I went in early to try the food. It was great and the staff were so helpful, responding to my questions about the upcoming event. Can’t wait for the next visit!

Michelin Portions, Fast Food Taste I had high hopes for this place, but it was a letdown. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the food was a disappointment. Despite the small, Michelin-style portions, the quality was on par with fast food. I felt misled by the glowing reviews. I won't be returning.

For a restaurant which claims to be a fine dining Asian fusion .. quite disappointing actually especially for what you are paying. Our bill came close to $400 for 2 people which included 2h passes of sparkling wine and a $88 bottle of Shiraz. I booked lunch there for today and not only we were the only table there, food was very average and our oysters came after the mains, I don’t think food was freshly cooked either to top it ,Taittinger champagne was out of stock as well. The only dishes I can recommend were truffle dumplings and barramundi . Comparing to other fine dining places in Melbourne this wouldn’t make it to the list of recommendations by far. I definitely won’t be back, sorry.

I recently dined at Ming Dining for the first time, and while the experience had its highlights, it ultimately left me with mixed feelings. The atmosphere at Ming Dining is undoubtedly one of its strongest points. The decor is tastefully done, blending modern elegance with subtle traditional touches. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a pleasant setting for an evening out. Additionally, the restaurant offers numerous spots perfect for capturing some great photos, which adds a nice touch to the dining experience. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the ambiance. The dishes were decent, but for the price, they were underwhelming. I found that they lacked the depth and flavor one might expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The Mapo Tofu, in particular, was disappointing. It wasn't as spicy as it should have been, and it lacked the authentic taste that this classic dish is known for. Given its price point, I was hoping for something more memorable. Overall, while Ming Dining offers a beautiful setting and an inviting atmosphere, the food falls short of the mark, especially given the price. If you're looking for a place with a nice ambiance for photos, this might be a good spot. However, if your primary focus is on the quality and authenticity of the food, there might be better options elsewhere. Overall, my experience was just okay.
