Mirabella is an Italian steakhouse in the same location where Mirabell Restaurant once stood in the heart of Irving Park. Mirabell, a local staple for nearly 40 years, could not be easily ignored or forgotten; so when the new Owner, Chef Arturo, left his career of 20 years as Head Chef at one of the best steakhouses in downtown Chicago, he felt it was important to recognize Mirabell's unique and longstanding contributions to the community. Mirabella is proud to honor the history and integrity of the former restaurant, while serving the cuisine that Chef Arturo is so passionate about. Absolutely love this neighborhood gem. They have the best, most reasonably priced steaks in town. The pasta is also amazing. The service is incredible and I love the inside. So old school!

We had to wait 20min to be seated despite having reservation. Our waiter was rude and rushed us.

My three adult children and I enjoyed a wonderfully prepared meal and festive friendly atmosphere at mirabella on Christmas Eve. We had a great time and will definitely be back!!

We remember the original restaurant the Mirabel. Good German food. This wonderful restaurant the Mirabella is in a word: Fabulous! The Ecuadoran people who own and run this fine establishment beat any 5 star steak house! Congratulations to them. We were seated next to a boisterous round table table of 8. Because of my hearing loss, I had difficulty carrying on a conversation at my table. Tables with a large party tend to be noisy. I suggest seating such groups where they may be a lesser nuisance to others. I had an enjoyable evening and the service was excellent. The food was very good and plentiful, but the price a tad high. This was truly a great experience. The restaurant is a classic. A matre ‘d in a tuxedo greets you as you enter. The dining room is warm and inviting. Our server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our cocktails, often poorly made by bartenders, were perfect. The menu has offerings for every taste and easily met our gluten free requirements. Prices are fair. Just a great experience on how dining out used to be.
