Located on Mission Street between Ocean Ave & 7th Ave, in Carmel California. Mission Bistro Restaurant is owned by Shaheen Alnuaimi. Our history-rich location is warm, charming, and above all cozy. We offer brunch, lunch, dinner, local, and import wines. Chef Matt Zimny sources from Monterey and Santa Cruz County farms and ranches with the goal of serving what is fresh and currently available. At Mission Bistro we do Seafood and Steaks right. Cheers!

    We really loved the dishes - we had the Christmas Day set menu. The highlight was the scallop main dish, lots of flavour coming through the scallop and the chanterelles. Only issue we had was that there was a mix up where our seat was mistakenly assigned to another group, causing us to wait a while despite having a reservation. But mistakes can happen!

    We were a party of 6 plus a dog, service is always friendly and prompt! The food was extra fantastic and so well played for Xmas eve. Our favorite new place🎄

    Really a great place. Not a large menu which I like because they focus on what they do best. Food is locally grown and sourced. A lot of organic and real foods, although they don’t want to fall into that farm to table cliché. I was talking to I think the owner and he was very humble about not marketing his restaurant that way but just have good food that is healthy for all to enjoy. I thought it was great and will be back! Aloha from Hawaii.

    The food and wine that we selected was excellent! Service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will be coming back on our next trip, for sure!

    Celebrated our Anniversary and the evening was great. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and very nice. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Thanks again for a great dinner.

    A truly great meal. Service was spot on and the food was fresh and locally sourced. Not an expansive menu but something for everyone and the chef was clearly visible in the open kitchen. I must return for sure.

    We had an outstanding dinner at Mission Bistro, after the Carmel Christmas Tree Lighting celebration! Our meals, the service and the ambiance were excellent. Looking forward to returning to Mission Bistro soon!
