    Overall it was an outstanding experience. The food was delicious and the staff was gracious. They were solicitous but not overbearing. An added plus were the other diners. Everyone was friendly. Clearly the restaurant set the tone for a good time to be had by all.

    This is the second time I go to Mission Ceviche, but first time I go to the Union Square location. Food is always soo good, portions are very small but if you’re looking to treat yourself to a high quality restaurant, then I do recommend. So unfortunate though because I haven’t been here in a while since the waiters were rude last time at the other location, and same thing happened here. The bussers are so nice but really need to seek better, kinder, waiters. Hospitality requires patience and that the customer is always right. Such a shame because the Chef is such a kind person.

    2nd time here and it was a stark difference from the 1st time. They tried to say that there was no reservation made, and after evidence and receipts were presented - we waited an hour after reservation time (with multiple requests to be seated and questioning why it was taking so long), they brought out main course first—appetizers last, waiters barely came to the table to offer any utensils plates etc, and to top it off they were not apologetic, a manager did not approach, nor did their team offer an apology, a comp dish or drink, or any form of explanation as to the awful experience. Huge disappointment.

    If the prices were not that high, I would rate this as sub par perivuan food with mediocre service in a cool setting with fun elegant drinks., But considering the prices are ~30% higher than similar cool/viby peruvian spots, this just has to go down as just a bad restaurant with a cool design.
