   My advice, go somewhere else. I came here with 4 girlfriends after seeing posts online, we thought we'd treat ourselves and try Mistress out. Our booking was at 8pm and it was pretty empty, but at 9pm the place filled up and the DJ started playing music. Firstly and upon arrival, they wanted to stick the 5 of us on a 2 x 2 person sofa, so we had to ask if they could add a chair on the end of the table so we wouldn't have to squeeze 3 of us on a 2 person sofa. Secondly, my friend found a hair in her salad, so she was left with only £10 fries for her dinner as she felt sick from seeing it. The restaurant, as compensation, gave the 3 glasses of wine that we ordered, on the house (my friend with the hair in her salad didn't even order a glass of wine herself). Thirdly, I know this is a Mayfair restaurant, with Mayfair prices, but as a group of hard working, professional ladies, one just can't help but feel totally ridiculed by the price to quality to serving size received here. The food was nothing impressive, in fact, dry. Finally, the waiter tried to scam us. I put a £50 per person deposit to confirm our booking. I knew that with the 3 x glasses of wine that were complimentary for the hair-salad issue, none of us would reach the £50 per person deposit amount, I was owed money back. But the waiter came to me and told me that with the drinks on the house, the bill is sorted and they've closed the tab. He wanted to take me as a fool? I asked him to show me the breakdown of the bill. So he went away and another waiter came back with, in fact, a refund of £72. The previous waiter was unable to show his face again for the fact he tried to get off with this lie. Are they trained to work this way in a place like this? Hoping we are dumb enough to not think twice? We didn't want to stay there a minute more than we needed to, we were in and out in under 1h30mins. We got out and went to have dessert and tried to make the most of our girls-night elsewhere. Shame.

   Maria looked after us I can’t put into words how much she made our trip to Mistress worth it! She was unbelievable the food was unmatched and for the entertainment I have no words it was absolutely brilliant, the front of house staff were so bubbly and there to help no matter what, definitely worth every penny, thank you so much to Maria and the team at Mistress of Mayfair

   We was really looking forward to a girls Christmas dinner and booked Mistress after seeing lots of positive reviews online. The service and management was appauling. We arrived at 10pm and our table wasn’t ready which is fine so we waited 10minutes or so. Was seated at our table booked for 5 which was a table of four and they found a chair to put on the end. Not great but not a huge problem. Waitress very quickly took our order and dinner was served 10minutes later. Our food was good and dinner was cleared. At 10.55 someone came over and said we need to leave the table now, we had not yet even seen or been offered a desert menu or even paid for our bill, In fact was still waiting on drinks ordered. Spoke to the rudest member of what I can assume was management and he confirmed we had to leave the table and drinks would be bought to the bar. 10 minutes later, no drinks and bill was already paid. Spoke to the same guy whose response was “speak to the waiter, do you know who I am?” But when asked. Wouldn’t provide his name. No drinks that we paid over £100 for and we left. Will not be returning, obnoxious and rude staff and extremely rushed service. Not enjoyable at all!

   We arrived at our reservation time at 10 and they made us wait for 30 min only to give us a bar table…..

   The salmon was dry and overcooked, it didn’t taste good. Service was quite poor as well, asked for another table as we couldn’t see any performance which was the whole point why we were going there. Will not come back unfortunately.

   From the beginning to the end every part of my night was amazing. Food was the best I’ve had in a while, service was impeccable & the entertainment was memorable. I can’t wait to visit again.

   Nothing special, very ambient, but kind of easily forgettable. A little expensive for the size and food quality, but rather “boring”. I would give them some break as to the fact it was opened recently, though the decor and quietness fit the name a little (place to bring your mistresses over). There are dime a dozen of places around, which are far better. Sorry, we were not impressed.
