   I took my dad out for his birthday. The service was great. The oscar filet had a great flavor with plenty of crab meat. My only complaint which is very slight is I wasn’t blown away by the mac & cheese. I wish I could remember the waitresses name (I know it starts with a “M”). She was phenomenal.

   Four of us went for a night out. Two of us had dined here before, but something looked “different.” Possibly the lighting, but the atmosphere did not seem as inviting or intimate. BUT, this is an excellent steak house! We all ordered the “Filet Duet” with varied side dishes. All of the items were absolutely delicious - expertly prepared and great presentation. Plus our server was impeccable. Overall, Mitchell’s is everything to expect from a fine steak house restaurant. My only reservations is that it lacked a bit of the cozy/intimate atmosphere.

   First, a reminder to BE KIND. Mark was our server and went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible evening. He cared so deeply about our experience to ensure that our food and service were top notch. Thank you to Mark for helping us have a great spur of the moment evening out. We appreciate you. Thanks to Nichole for checking in on us and also ensuring we were notified the restaurant was running a bit behind and letting us know to come 15 minutes later. We are pleased with our experience and will be back!

   For the past 15 years, several of my friends and I spend a weekend together before Christmas, shopping and enjoying Columbus. The past 5 years we’ve ended the weekend dining at Mitchells Polaris. We’ve always enjoyed amazing service and excellent food. This year our server was Angel, and she absolutely lived up to her name. It was late on a Sunday night and she was so gracious and friendly for the entire dinner. The other staff members were just as gracious and attentive. We hope to continue this tradition and we promise that next year we won’t stay so late!

   We were celebrating our anniversary. The filets we ordered were done to perfection. Our server, Mark, helped to make it a fun and memorable evening. He was friendly, attentive, and when the dessert I had picked out with my prefix selection was no longer available, he allowed us both to choose another dessert from the menu.

   Last Thanksgiving you could order off the menu but this year you were required to choose a pre fixe dinner. We did not think the offering met value and quality for the cost. Won’t be back next year.
