   We received fantastic service from Alberto, which made for a wonderful Valentine’s Day date night with their prix fixe menu. The dishes served extremely well with their suggested wine pairings. The ventilation for the restaurant has improved dramatically in the last couple years, resulting in a much more pleasant indoor dining experience. Amazing hole-in-the-wall spot in East Village that should not be overlooked.

   Monzu is amazing and so fresh! I had the Lobster ravioli special and it was out of this world, light and the pink sauce, so good! The staff was amazing too. We were sat immediately and Daniel was very nice. I also had the best cappuccino at the end of our dinner.

   I can see why this little gem is so highly rated. The food was outstanding and you tell that it was freshly made using high quality ingredients. Service was exceptional from Antonio. My wife had the pesto gnocchi and I had the lasagna, both were great. But the star of the evening was the Tiramisu, it was the best either of us had ever had. Monzu is small, cozy, simple, warm restaurant with excellent food and service for a reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and go eat there.

   This is my 4th or 5th time dining at Monzu. I have had everything from appetizers, salads and fresh pasta dishes and they never disappoint! If you want truly authentic fresh pasta and absolute flavor bombs of a dish this is the place. If you have Antonio as your server your experience is complete. He created an amazing guest experience by being both friendly and extremely attentive. This is the type of restaurant you want to see succeed and I hope only the best! See you again soon!

   The pesto pasta snd short rib ravioli was delicious! Service was superb. We had Antonio as our waiter. He was nice and attentive.
