Morimoto Asia is Chef Masaharu Morimoto first pan-Asian restaurant. The creativity of Chef Morimoto is already one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine. This culinary destination includes unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. The second-level sushi bar and lounge have a separate entrance.

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing at Disney Springs, an entertainment-dining-retail district. With an overhaul and re-branding of this portion of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs will present a fresh and new face to the magical kingdom that is sure to be an extraordinary experience.

                                                                              Absolutely terrible experience today. Disney service has lost its touch. We were seated for over 10 min before we had to flag down water. 15 before we were greeted by a waiter and over an hour before our food was served. The restaurant was not busy. The second floor was not even opened. We had to ask for the check before the food was dropped just to make it out before the afternoon rain. Even that took 20 minutes and two request’s. We could have eaten better food elsewhere and paid less for it. Normally you pay for the experience and the food is satisfactory. Neither were today.

                                                                              The quality of food and taste was excellent. We did not have second floor patio seating or a more secluded table for our anniversary as requested. In fact, we sat less than six inches from neighboring couples and our table was so small, they removed food that was not yet touched so they could make room for food that was being delivered. We were wondering what had happened to dishes that we ordered.
