14 years go, my wife and I with two close friends had a night in Ludlow and we ate at the Bacasse; a Michelin starred restauant in the town. It was truly superb and we had a very enjoyable time
14 years on, with many memories under our belts we decided to repeat the trip only to learn that the Becasse is no more and has been replaced by Mortimers.
We booked a table and had one of the best dining experiences so far. Two of the party were vegetarian and Mortimers produced a specific menu for them. We all had the Tasting Menu with wine Pairing. Each course was extremely tasty and well presented. The staff’s attention to detail was incredible and they were so friendly
In summary, there was abolutely nothing to fault here which is very rare these days. Happy memories (again)
Hopefully they will still be there in 14 years time :-)
