   The venue is pleasant, peaceful, and comfortable, the food was outstanding, so much so, that I have booked a return in January, to repeat the process, The cod dish was absolutely amazing and delicious., it’s my kind of restaurant.,

   The tasting menu and wine was brilliant especially as 2 we’re vegetarian and couldn’t believe how wonderful it was. It was the best vegetarian selection they have had. Many thanks to Wayne and staff for Marin our experience wonderful.

   A very enjoyable birthday meal. Lovely food and excellent service. The wine paring was very generous and therefore very good value. Whether you are local or passing through you should come here when you have something to celebrate for a special treat.

   I eat here infrequently but Mortimers retains its reliably high standards from visit to visit, whether tasting or set 3 course menu. Particularly impressive is the care & attention to an individual's likes & dislikes, which are noted for future visits. Add to this the chef's willingness to produce an alternative which is not on the menu. And for front of house to offer a wine which is not listed. Although wood paneled Mortimers is well lit, creating a calm & relaxing ambience. This is a "treat" venue for me and I appreciate it all the more for that.

   A great venue for that special meal. A short menu (always a good sign) but even so it was difficult to choose between such tempting dishes. Good wine list. We started with a glass of Nyetimber followed by a bottle of Sicilian Baglio Gibellina. A quite remarkable wine and superb value. The staff are very welcoming making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

   As locals we regard Mortimers as the best restaurant within 50 miles in our experience over 20 years.

   Our restaurant of choice on our annual visit to Ludlow. The tasting menu has a balanced selection, all elements are well cooked and seasoned and they use high quality ingredients. Food to savour. A friendly atmosphere, my disabled partner and I were well looked after.

    Fantastic food and service! Very intimate and cozy place that offers chef’s tasting menu. The chef was very gracious in accommodating my gluten intolerance with all the dishes. This is our favorite restaurant in Ludlow and we try to come much as possible. .
