   This is my third visit to this establishment, and the food consistently meets high standards. However, the service during my visit yesterday (February 24) was very disappointing. We left feeling unsatisfied as our waiter appeared overwhelmed with other tables. It seems the restaurant may benefit from hiring additional staff or managing reservations more effectively. Additionally, the hostess was rather unprofessional; she initially could not locate my reservation and bluntly informed me that no table was available even after she had offered a table to the folks In front of me who deliver the table. It was only after I presented proof of my reservation that she offered us a table. I even inquired if she was having a difficult day, as her demeanor suggested she might not be suited for a welcoming role in the restaurant.

   Motek never fails to impress me. The staff is knowledgable and attentive. The food is excellent. We usually order appetizers and then wait toorder main courses because the food comes out so quickly.

   MOTEK IS FRAUDULENT! CROOKED! DISHONEST! This restaurant should be investigated for Fraud! They charged us twice for 2 drinks. We gave the card for 2 drinks but ended up being charged twice without our consent. 1st- before we were brought drinks, waiter asked for CC. Shady! We thought just on file but he charged it without our consent. Second 2drinks were offered to us complimentary by a manager woman who refused giving her name, to compensate for the bad first 2 drinks that first came with all crushed ice & no alcohol, no drink in it. But we were deceived & charged $80 for 2 Mojito drinks. During same dinner When we saw this charge on our CC app, we asked for manager. He also refused giving his name. Seems common. He was bold, short, with strong accent. We asked to pay for appetiser we only ordered that far, minus $40 double charge for 2 drinks and leave! but He dropped a bomb on us forcing not to reimburse illegitimately made charge for 2nd 2 drinks. We kept explaining we were offered them complimentary by a manager woman who left for the day but he called her & she said to charge us, which was double shocking! You go to restaurant and were offered a complimentary drink to substitute first bad one but end up being charged is ILLEGAL SHADY & GROSSLY WRONG! Manager was obnoxious, rude, manipulative, taking over us. He than threatened to call police. We were humiliated to the core. On top we never gotten our 2nd dish but he charged us for that one too. He than packaged that dish to go. See attached photo of misearable tiny dish for $32 Kebab Entry, looks horrible. We simply paid on top of being overcharged and left literally in tears. As that’s not enough THEY CHARGE AUTOMATICALLY 20% service charge for 1 star service!. It was Valentine’s Day that was absolutely ruined. This man manager is a disgrace. living in Miami for 25 years this was by far the most horrible humiliating restaurant experience. They should be reported for fraudulent activity! STAY AWAY FROM MOTEK

   Unfortunately, one person is nervous around dogs and we had THREE at the next table. I myself think one had an odor coming from that direction. We skipped our main course and wine with dinner but did order one person a desert and departed. I like dogs but not in restaurants I leave mine. Outdoor okay.

   Did not enjoy the waiter and his lack of interest during the dinner . Food ok . Price feels too high for the entire experience at this restaurant . Probably not returning .

   I went with my friend on a Sunday afternoon, this was our second time there, we loved it so much the first time we went but this time I was disappointed. We ate there and I also ordered a meal to go. I requested no onions, the server confirmed that there would be no onions on the dish, he said they could definitely remove the pickled onions. I got home, opened the dish and not only did I have cooked onions, I had raw pickled onions as well. I tried calling the restaurant, no one picked up, I left a voicemail, no one called back. I even sent an email and got no response. The customer service is disappointing.

    Great ambiance, service and food. We ordered the hummus, falafel and Israeli salad - all delicious. We sat in the garden in the back which was quiet until others were seated. I love this place and will be back soon!
