Our party of 3 had dinner on a Saturday night recently. It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the charcuterie plate and scallops with butternut squash to start. One on our party had the filet mignon special, one had the cauliflower steak, and one had the duck confit from the prix fixe menu. Everything was excellent. We finished the meal with the coffee cake and pot de creme. It was one of the best meals we’ve ever had and it’s amazing this place is in my old hometown I rarely get to visit! I loved that there was a prix fixe menu we could order items from. Wonderful place, wonderful service, great space. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in Utica.

Not our first time at Motus and they never disappoint. Backpackers Lunch was diverse with so many different cheeses, meats and other delectable items. Chicken was perfect. Had 3 desserts and each one was delicious especially the coffee cake (presentation great).

Excellent. Their “prix fixe” is a great option that includes dessert! Drinks are pricey but uniquely fantastic.

An outstanding experience. Motus actually does what other area restaurants try to do. Fresh ingredients and creative and delicious food. We’ve been going out in Utica for 35 years and this was the best meal/experience we’ve had in the city.

Excellent food, creative plates with locally sourced vegetables and other ingredients. The article char was delicious as was the chicken duo with farro and brussel sprouts. The scallop appetizer with butternut purée - fabulous! We finished with the mocha pot de crème with the most amazing warm walnut biscotti. Every season brings new treats but the Chef has outdone himself with this fall menu. Motus is a hidden gem in downtown Utica. We can always get a reservation/ table. Service is consistently excellent. Wines carefully selected. Highly recommend!
