Opened in 2006 by world famous restaurateur Michael Chow, most recently awarded the 5 Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for its excellence, service, and cuisine this is the second post to the original in NYC on 57th Street. Mr Chow's latest & hippest location is surrounded by a Patio & the attractive bar opens at 5:00PM daily.

TriBeCa's Executive Chef Kwok Hor, is a highly respected professional in the Chinese Cuisine Industry & has given many lectures at The Hong Kong Culinary Association.

Awful experience. Since we were the only two guests having dinner (the restaurant was empty) the waiters were all the time of the dinner circling our table, making us uncomfortable because they were clearly trying to make us finish dinner the faster possible in order to go home. If I am a client having dinner and I am paying for it you have no right to make me eat in a rush. They were literally staring at us all the time. We dined in an hour and left because of the situation of distress. Never again. Ps : the food wasn’t event good and we spent 300$

I tried the best noodles of my life. Everything I tasted on the menu was an incredibly yummy experience. Also, the service is outstanding. It made my trip to NY unforgettable!

Food is still quite good, but not as good as in days gone by. Service is beyond excellent. It is extremely pricey ($1200 for 6 people -- only 3 drinking alcohol - and barely 2 drinks each - no wine). Loud but not unbearable. Still would go just for the chicken satay, or candied beef.

Jammed next to large tables of screaming children. Drinks were forgotten, food was good not excellent for the price., that was the tiniest portion of sweet and sour pork I have ever seen in my life.

I go to Mr Chow’s uptown often and I have never had such poor food and service. To say the food tasted like strip mall Chinese was an understatement. Is there a way for me to connect with management.

Been to Mr chow for years. Tonight decided it has become a restaurant that needs turnover. Decent food that has abused its status. We turned up for a 10pm reservation, knowing this isn’t Miami, it also not Cedar Rapids. But we don’t want to be forced home after 30 minutes after making a reservation. After ordering with the utmost efficiency, I live in Tribeca, we appreciate our arrogance, it’s super weird to have 6 dudes hovering over the table shoving you out. A $400 dinner for two in a quiet night turns out to be a fun discussion with the hostess Monica who disregards you because she claims this is corporates behavior and not hers. Disgusting. We didn’t want to be ushered out like sheep. I hope some place better takes its places because it is looking emptier by the day.
