   We came to Murray's because they were open on Thanksgiving and had never been. French Onion soup was very good, not too salty like what we have had in the past at other restaurants. I had Caesar Salad with salmon, a little pricey, but you get 9oz (uncooked) so a good portion. The fish and chips looked good, will have to try that next time. Chicken Pot Pie was salty from what I heard (two ordered it at our table) and could have used more ingredients (i.e. chicken). The French Onion and Pot Pie used the same size bowl. Good size for the soup. Nice atmosphere and service was attentive.

   Overall great. Wish they had high chairs or put that info somewhere so we could have planned ahead but overall great service (even though they were short staffed that night), great cocktails and delicious food. Would go back

   We had fantastic service. Probably the best service we’ve had in Austin in the 14 years we’ve lived here. Great atmosphere.

   My new favorite place! The cosmopolitan was delicious and their meat and cheese plate is AMAZING. Also loved the fish and chips, with extra malt vinegar *chefs kiss*

   Fantastic experience! Murrys provides everything you’re looking for in a tavern. Great atmosphere, fun energy, tasty drinks and delicious food! This is the type of place I can’t wait to go back to and try everything on the menu. Great for groups, or dates and even works as a place to catch the game at the bar. Looking forward to going back again and again!

   The food and cocktails are great, as is the decor. I just wish the music matched the old-school Brooklyn tavern vibe. By the looks of the place, they should be playing Bobby Darin or Rat Pack songs at a reasonable volume. Instead they’re blasting ‘80s hits, so loud that you kind of have to shout to be heard over it. I was grateful the staff sat us in probably the quietest corner in the place, but my husband and I still had trouble hearing each other.

   Steak frites is a ritual, and not one that every place in Austin nails. Murray's does it better than any other spot in town. And the martinis flow like wine.

   This is my second visit. I enjoy the food, however, both servers are nice yet tend to have a condescending attitude and forget simple requests. Love the concept… But you need to figure out how to track some of the noise. It is so loud you can’t even have a conversation.

   We were dying for a delicious Sunday roast, and Murray’s delivered 100%! Incredible pub vibes, amazing food, and super friendly staff. We’ll be back for sure.

    One of the best fish n chips in ATX. Light flakey breading and moist and flavorful cod. NOT tilapia. A must try on the east side
