9 May 2025 onlyJoin us for a Thai-Chinese ala carte menu created with critically acclaimed chef, Mei Lin! Born in China, Mei Lin and her family immigrated to the US when she was an infant. They planted roots in Dearborn, Michigan, where Lin grew up working alongside her mother and father at their family-owned and operated Chinese restaurant; and where she learned the fundamentals of being a well-rounded cook and how to run a restaurant. Mei Lin won Food Network’s Tournament of Champions IV in 2023. Her former restaurant Nightshade, was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Restaurant, along with the Shrimp Toast being highlighted as Dish of the Year; and earning a spot as one of GQ Magazine and Eater National’s Best New Restaurants in America as well as 2020 James Beard Foundation Best Chef California & Best New Restaurant Nominations. Lin opened her fast-casual Szechuan Hot Fried Chicken restaurant, Daybird, to critical acclaim.

The menu is priced at $65 per person, exclusive of 7.75% tax and a 20% service fee The night is less about what level of spice you can handle, and more about exploring the range of flavors that chilies can provide. Before booking, please review our information regarding dietary restrictions as the menu relies heavily on fish sauce, shrimp, raw fish and meat, pork, egg, shellfish, garlic, onions, soy, wheat, mushrooms, cilantro. Where possible and with advanced notice (72 hours), we will do our best to accommodate. Day of substitutions will be politely declined.
