At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local microbreweries and are of a very high quality. We offer a range of good quality wines and spirits to compliment our menu.

A warm welcome, the place was busy but we were served promptly. The food was delicious, we had beef bao buns and jerk chicken flatbreads to start, and chicken supreme and lamb rump for mains, too full for dessert. All very tasty, we are never disappointed here.

Food was good, but unfortunately service was very poor. Staff were friendly but said they’d been busy, nonetheless we had a very very long wait between courses, which was a shame, especially as it was my partners birthday meal with our family.

Yet another brilliant evening at the Nags Head . Six of us , all thuroughly enjoyed , Lovely ( and Huge ) Fish pie , full of Salmon and other mixed fish , Starters all perfect , couldnt fault , Thanks to the team yet again !

A fantastic establishment, traditionally decorated but with a modern vibe. The staff are all helpful and friendly and the food and drink choices were great.

Mexican Night featuring a Mexican menu. Excellent food in a warm relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Staff attentive and pleasant as usual. Looking forward to a future themed evening although usual menu is always superb.
