Nakato Japanese Restaurant provides Atlanta's most authentic and unique Japanese dining experience, serving the finest quality Sushi and exquisitely prepared dishes created by our chefs who were born and trained in Japan. Established in 1972, Nakato is family owned and now operated by the third generation of the Nakato family.

Enjoy the most traditional and authentic Japanese restaurant that Atlanta has to offer in our traditional dining room overlooking a majestic Japanese garden. In addition to Sushi and traditional Japanese dishes, we also offer highly entertaining and wonderfully prepared Hibachi on our Teppanyaki Grills.

    Had the toro tuna flight, delicious. The salmon skin salad, crispy strips of the skin atop iceberg, very nice. The monkfish liver salad was tantalizing , medallions of monkfish liver on cucumber slices with a tangy ponzu sauce. The server was polite, professional, there when needed him.
