Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

There’s nothing better than sitting at the Temaki Counter and having the chef personally hand you each piece! This chef interactive reservation will be at the Temaki counter, which is a high top format. Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.

Grab a seat in our indoor dining room and enjoy a server driven experience! This reservation will be seated at a traditional table inside. Reservations at tables will receive their Temaki in complete sets. To guarantee the most crisp nori, each piece will be wrapped in a plant based wrapper that you’ll remove when you’re ready to enjoy! Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.

The food was outstanding and the service was even better. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve on your first visit but the staff is expert and very kind about teaching the essentials. We were there for my wife's birthday and they were terrific, the right blend of acknowledging and not going overboard. Everything was top notch but the clam soup was amazing, our 6-year old had two bowls all by himself

Excellent, innovative, food. Very gracious and attentive service. The restaurant had a nice, clean vibe. The noise level was not too loud and it enabled me to have a good conversation with my friend. I’ll certainly return!

Nami Nori has quickly become me and my husband's go-to Saturday/Sunday brunch spot. There's not a single temaki roll that we've tried so far and not liked or LOVED. Get the Nami Nori salas to start, so delicious! The service is excellent. You're a little close to your neighbors at the tables/bar, but I've never really found that impeded my excellent experience here.
