Ideal beautiful rural setting, at the edge of the glorious Brecon Beacons National Park. Extremely warm, professional and proficient welcome from staff upon entering the grounds. Cosy and clean room provided in an intimate and private section of the Lodge, with all facilities in good working order. Exceptional menu and quality of meals provided by the four chefs employed. The rooms, possibly the fixtures and fittings, furniture etc could do with a make over and being updated but otherwise a really super stay all round!!!

Disappointing overall all, very small portion of beef and vegetable portion was also on small side for two people. Service was slow we weren’t asked for drinks until we ordered food. Disappointing for the cost

Really run down place from what seems like a lovely venue from it's exterior. It is in dire need of a renovation and fast. Ceilings has major cracks and tiles visibly damaged, table were aged badly to the point where you could clearly see the top coating come away. Outside areas were not in keeping, the entrance to any building sets a standard and it's full of cobwebs spiders and leaves. The food was OK in my opinion and certainly had better especially when you spend £106 on a meal you expect something alot better. My partner twisted her ankle in the car park to uneven parking spaces and woeful lighting. For a special occasion this place is not the right fit anymore, I am sorry to have to say that I am surprised some top celebrities have stayed here because I certainly will not be coming back anytime soon. Left feeling rather disappointed.
