   Horrible experience First we.Came and were sitting for like 20 minutes till our server comes and takes order Hukkah was ordered which also took forever to come. The drinks were horrible they were not made right at all. No waters were brought on our table Drinks were awful asked for margaritas do not know what it was. Worst experience never had a bad experience with Nara But yesterday was awfully very bad. Not thinking to come back to this place again.

   Service and food were excellent! My only issue is the lack of available wine and alcohol. They were out of almost everything.

   The first red flag was calling the restaurant an hour before our reservation to confirm and the phone kept going straight to voicemail. My review is based on what my partner and I encountered with the manager tonight, hospitality is a trait that the manager who was running the host stand clearly lacks. Walking in to Nara’s I clearly thought to myself that I didn’t need a reservation since they had half of the restaurant empty and only a couple at the bar. Restaurant looked clean, I was excited to give this place another chance from our last poor experience. But this one took the cake! No one in the front to greet us. The manager walked over after waiting there for a few minutes already waiting to be greeted and asked if we had a reservation, I gave my name. He confirmed our reservation and told us it was for upstairs. Confused I commented, since I made reservations for the private dining area, since we decided to go on date night. He proceeded to tell us to go upstairs so we did. Upstairs felt like a high school party where clearly we weren’t invited to, and definitely not set up for dining, we walked back downstairs and waited patiently at the host stand where the manager proceeded to ignore us until a set of guest walked in after us. He stated that there will be a wait for inside, we agreed and sat on the benches by the front as he proceeded to sit the family of 5 that came after us with a reservation at 9:15. But the cherry on top was the group of guys who walked in a few moments later which the manager proceeded to greet with handshakes and a smile(for a moment I thought he didn’t know how to do that) they did not have a reservation but he insisted to them not to worry and told them to sit wherever they like. My blood started to boil but I kept my mouth shut sitting there by the benches. Finally we got sat but by the time we got sat at a table any appetite I had walking in vanished and we stood up and left since my partner and I could tell we weren’t welcomed.

   Service was great, drinks good, food delicious, cooked and seasoned to perfection but the dessert was such a let down. Cold old baklava, 100% from frozen. It’s supposed to be warm or at least room temp, Crispy and flaky. I got very cold, soggy & sticky baklava. Unacceptable for a Mediterranean restaurant to fail at baklava. I hate to dwell on the negative, I’ve been here a few times. Drinks are always great. Food is delicious. Our tabbouleh was almost too fresh lol not complaining (I like mine to sit for a while for the parsley to soak up the flavors) . There’s a hookah lounge upstairs, wouldn’t know unless you asked. I usually avoid peak times, but in my experience it doesn’t get too many people where you can’t hear your own conversations, it was very quiet and would make a lovely date night place and sit and chat away over their wonderful wine selection ( definitely not over the baklava lol) Overall 4/5

   It was our first visit to Nara. Isaac was our server, we highly recommend him. He explained in great detail the entire menu and really listened to what we wanted and made excellent recommendations. Our appetizers and dinners were both full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very nice inside and very clean. We will definitely be back and we will ask for Isaac!

   For a party of 5, we ordered platters for appetizers (not on the menu) and the platter for main course. Sides were delicious (cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, and saffron rice). Service was great (Angelito) and the food was delicious! One of the best Mediterranean meals in Atlanta.

   We were pleased to receive a table though reserving process showed hi tops were all that was available. The service was good and our orders came out timely and correctly. The standard app they provide was great. Compared to Del Bar, DB quantity is greater and unlimited. We didn’t ask for more here so not sure if they offer it. We weren’t aware it was provide so we had already ordered 2 apps. We all enjoyed our experience. Will definitely return.

    We dined on Mother’s Day. The dinner, ambiance & service was outstanding. Our server Sarita was excellent! She knew the food & cocktail menus well & was confident when asked questions. She made an amazing cocktail that was filled to the rim! Highly recommend this restaurant.
