Nettuno blew our minds!! Such an amazing place right here in LBC. From first entering the space to the last moment we stepped away we were amazed. The food was fantastic. The space is so special. And our service from Dallas made all this one memorable evening. We can’t say enough about Nettuno so you have to go there and experience it yourselves.

This place is literally a hidden gem. If you like fresh Italian cuisine you must come here. It’s on the pricier side but it’s a nice experience. I came for the first time for my birthday and it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to come back and try another dish.

Came for brunch on a Sunday. Had reservations and were seated immediately which was great. Everything we ordered tasted delicious, but the portions were extremely small. The cocktail menu is outstanding. They have some clever Negronis which I was pleasantly surprised by. I had the strawberry one and it was outstanding. The French toast is amazing- HIGHLY recommend. The crispy potatoes aren’t very crispy, but the flavor was very good. Overall I would definitely come back for brunch and would like to try other meal services. The service was great atmosphere was great, but again the portions could’ve been a tad larger for the price.

Although I would recommend this restaurant I can’t give it 5 stars bc the view from the window is a parking garage w/ a dumpster, the portions are too small and it was right off the main lobby. We also didn’t care for the menu being written in Italian 🙄. We did however receive good service, delivered food & cocktails.

Nettuno at the Fairmont – High Gloss, Low Soul Dining at Nettuno feels like being promised a Roman holiday and being dropped off at a very upscale Olive Garden with mood lighting and $50 entrées. Housed inside the Fairmont Breakers, Nettuno tries desperately to distance itself from the hotel-lobby-dining stereotype. The menu is dotted with words like “burrata,” “calabrian chili,” and “cacciucco,” trying to convince you you’re about to embark on a coastal Italian culinary journey. What you actually get is food that tastes like it was passed through a corporate flavor filter and plated by someone following a photo from the training manual. The Crudo was fine—visually elegant, but lacked depth. The Burrata with stone fruit was the kind of dish that sounds inventive until you realize it’s just another sweet-salty starter resting on presentation alone. The Pappardelle alla Bolognese was perhaps the most honest plate of the night: hearty and safe, but far from special. Like something you’d find at a nice airport lounge if you had time to sit down. Their Branzino looked stunning but was buried under so much citrus and garnish it lost all its quiet, buttery charm. And don’t get me started on the Tiramisu, which somehow managed to be both too dense and too bland—a magic trick, really. The wine list is decent, though mostly by-the-glass prices feel like a punishment for not committing to a bottle. At its core, Nettuno is trying to sell the idea of boutique luxury dining while tethered to the reality of being a hotel restaurant. The menu talks big, the plating walks the walk, but the food never really shows up to the table. If you’re staying at the Fairmont and don’t feel like venturing outside, this might do. But if you’re looking for an actual dining experience in Long Beach, there are countless other places doing it better—for less, and without the identity crisis.

Sam, the host was great. He gave us a particular table that we requested. Plus we chat our time, and he accommodated us. Our waiter was Chris. He was excellent. Explained everything very well, and was very attentive. The space was beautiful. It is located in the new / very old hotel, now run by The Fairmont. The chef came out to greet many people on several occasions. Since it was our anniversary, he came by and gave my wife a kiss on each cheek, very Italian.

The ambiance was lovely, it is truly a beautiful space. Because the ceilings are so high, it is a bit noisy but not that noticeable. The food and drinks were amazing as was the service.
