   Wilson our server was great! Helped explain the menu and basically read our mind on what to eat. Everything he suggest for food was 👌🏻👌🏻. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items.

   An incredible dining experience! The food, all of it, was fresh and delicious. The service was spectacular, but not overbearing. It is an incredible deal. We are definitely returning.

   The meat was good, the seafood was overcooked and dried. Everything else was salty, especially the soups.

   Our server, Meng offered attentive, friendly service, making sure our every need was met with a smile. If you love wagyu, Niku X is a must. Every cut was perfectly marbled, and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. I loved the variety of drinks on the menu! My cocktail was beautifully crafted and paired well with the rich flavors of wagyu. The atmosphere is perfect here--modern, elegant, and inviting. It really completes the dining experience.

   It was my birthday celebration and our service was not good at all. Ordering every 30 minutes with our server and having our cocktails served after 35~ minutes was not a great experience. We did not eat much. Our server did give us drinks for our birthday celebration on the house, but that was the only positive experience. But the most important thing was we felt neglected for a bigger party that was across from us. Our party of two was hardly ever checked on and we did not have a great experience. Located inside of a prestigious hotel, we would think parking accomodations would be better. As advertised on your website, parking for Niku X was free. But when we got there, we could not park for free and we were forced to do valet. Our grill kept going out and had to be refired about 4 times until they realized there was no water in the pot. We were 50 minutes into our meal and did not order our second round yet. I should have just walked out after realized that that your servers only care about reviews and tips. I did not have a positive experience and my girlfriend was outraged. We also had ordered a sukiyaki on our second round and it did not come for an hour. IT CAME AFTER WE HAD PAID OUT. A RUNNER DROPPED THE FOOD OFF WHEN WE HAD NO PLATES OR UTENSILS AND WHILE OUR SERVER WAS PAYING US OUT. No dots were connected as they should have taken it back. My take: We were neglected and waited too long for our food. Outrageous experience for over $200. Never coming back.

   Disappointing Experience at Niku X LA I recently visited Niku X LA, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While I had high expectations given the price point, the reality was disappointing in several aspects: Extremely High Salt Levels in Food: Most dishes were excessively salty to the point that it was difficult to enjoy the meal. The extreme sodium levels left me feeling unwell even the following day. The king crab, in particular, tasted as though it had been heavily brined, making it nearly inedible. Chaotic and Overcrowded Ambience: The restaurant atmosphere was chaotic and noisy, detracting from any sense of comfort or relaxation. The buffet area was overly cramped, with food displayed on higher shelves that made it awkward and prone to spills. Average Service at a Premium Price: The service was unremarkable and did not match the premium price tag. For the price, I expected a more polished and attentive dining experience. Overpriced for the Value: At its current pricing, it feels like a complete letdown. If the cost were under $50 per person, it might be a reasonable choice, but certainly not at the current rates. Expensive Parking: Even with a restaurant discount, I paid $16 for parking after staying for just 1 hour and 30 minutes. In summary, the high sodium levels, subpar service, cramped buffet layout, and exorbitant prices made for a disappointing experience. I would hesitate to recommend this place unless significant improvements are made.

    Meats were great. Raw seafood was just okay. Oysters and sashimi were a little fishy. Toro tuna from the bar was surprisingly good and so were the pink clams.
