NiMo is a Coastal Mediterranean concept by Feal Hospitality, owned by dynamic duo Chef Niven Patel and Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar. The menu, itself, is a depiction of the bond formed by the partners over the years. It is the story of Mo, who grew up in the Mediterranean between Syria and Spain, told through the cuisine of his business partner, Chef Niven Patel. The menu is a culinary journey across the Mediterranean which includes dishes inspired by Syrian, Greek, and Spanish cuisine. Italy takes center stage with various pastas and wood fired pizza, a nod to Chef Niven’s time in Florence. As is true for all Feal Hospitality restaurants, fresh ingredients come first and local purveyors are showcased, including our own farm, Rancho Patel. NiMo is a casual yet elevated restaurant with pops of colors that add to the fun and excitement of the branding. The dining room features an open kitchen and is anchored by a 360 bar which opens to the exterior covered patio.

The grilled octopus was very nicely cooked. The tuna was ordinary like tuna at any decent restaurant (boring and could have been from anywhere but still very good). The 4 mains the 3 of us tried were mediocre. The risotto was not integrated. Each individual part of the risotto was discernible as its own ingredient. You could taste how rushed it was, but even if it hadn't been, it still would have been just ok. With the chicken and rice, the rice again was disappointing. There were way more chickpeas than were necessary in the catch of the day, but the fish was nice. The pasta was nondescript. The dessert game was excellent. Had a nice wine that was very decently priced. Great service. Nice vibe – they did a great job (especially when you consider they are in a plaza).

Some of the outdoor heaters were not working and it was chilly in e patio . The food definitely was good just needs salt and pepper , the waiter needs to up his game , alittle more receptive but friendly

Great overall experience. Early res at 6:30 but they were already out of what I ordered. Had to reorder 10 min in, but the server made up for it.

We waited till the last minute to book a table, and wound up with a 530 reservation. We were delighted to find when we got there that they have a terrific happy hour. We had great food, great cocktails, and our server Jaime was really great. Finally got to sit outside in the beautiful patio. We had come during the summer and it was just too hot for it then, and I highly recommend it.

The food is great ! I had the skirt steak cooked to perfection. The appetizer portions are good to share and try a variety if you feel like tapas and wine. We had the Octopus, the eggplant and the meatballs. All super delicious !!!
