   The food, as always at Nobu, is superb! however, the expense of dining here is now reaching a point of being untenable!

   When I booked my reservation at Nobu, I was hesitant after reading some mixed reviews. However, from the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded all my expectations. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos from the staff, which immediately made me feel welcome. Although I was initially seated at one spot at the counter, I asked to be moved to a different seat, and the staff graciously accommodated my request without hesitation. I started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and then moved on to a sushi platter and a few pieces of nigiri for my entrée. Each dish arrived promptly, and the sushi chef took the time to explain every piece while presenting them beautifully. Everything tasted exquisite, and the attention to detail in both the presentation and flavor was truly impressive. To top off the experience, it began to downpour while I was dining. Without an umbrella, I was prepared to brave the rain, but the concierge kindly offered me hers to ensure I stayed dry on my way back to my hotel. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect end to an already outstanding evening. If I could give Nobu six stars, I would. I will absolutely return the next time I am in town. This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and outstanding service.

   Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Had to wait 20 mins to get our table. Then had to beg to get consistent drink service throughout the meal. And then would wait forever to get the drinks we would order. Plus the metal tea kettle they served the expensive sake we ordered in leaked when poured. We order a lot of dishes and asked the server to course them as appropriate, but at the end when we asked about where the 6 Nobu tacos we ordered were it was discovered they had forgotten and it took 2 reminders and over 20 minutes to fix. They apologized and offered some comp on the bill but overall the service ruined the experience bc we had to constantly interject to get waited on, which is just not appropriate or expected of such a place like this.

   Nobu never disappoints - staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, food is incredible with a great variety, and they made it extra special last night with a great table for our anniversary and the manager stopped by a couple times to check in. Great job Nobu DC!

   Was not on par with other NOBU locations. The food was average. Miso cod over cooked and fishy. We went for a very special occasion. If you are celebrating something special or want to wow your date or guest I would opt for SHOTO.

   The music was very loud and it made people hearing one another difficult. People appeared more interested in talking to one another than in listening to the music.

   It was my first time visiting a Nobu and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. The fish was just okay. Not much better than what I can get in my local sushi restaurant. The Matsuhisa Martini and sake were great. Total bill of $250 for two people who didn’t have that much food…disappointing given the food quality. It seems maybe Nobu has grown too fast and quality has been sacrificed. Oh well. At least I’ve tried It.

    Super professional staff. Omakase is quite expensive but no regrets! Very tasty.
