A backyard oasis
sister restaurant to the popular 9th and 9th pizzeria, nono, nona is a backyard oasis set behind a classic bungalow in downtown salt lake city. nona serves rustic, non-fussy, wood-fired dishes, fresh cocktails and beer and wine on our al fresco patio in the summer and cozy lamp-lit garage in cool weather.

Very cool location and decoration. If you don’t know the restaurant is located inside a remodeled large modern garage. Our bottle of wine was good, the cheese plate was ok, and the meal was good but not great. My wife had a tomato soup and grilled cheese that she loved, but the ribeye was not amazing. It was very tough and sliced on delivery which made it bleed out. We gave it a 3.5 out of 5.

Yummy food plus a great atmosphere! Quaint little bistro with outdoor seating. We will definitely be returning soon. The charcuterie board was amazing. Unfortunately, they were already sold out of the potatoes. Will make sure we get there early enough to get them next time.

Wonderful food, beautiful restaurant, and best of all they don’t use seed oils. High recommends the salmon, lasagna, and the orange wine. Will be back to dine again.

Nona Bistro is the best! The setting is perfect. The outdoor seating area is beautifully designed and nicely shaded and the food is incredible. Highly recommend.
